Abilities provides training that meets the mandatory DDD and Medicaid requirements.
Among these required trainings are: CPR/FA/AED; Preventing Abuse, Neglect, & Exploitation; Danielle’s Law, Komnino’s Law, Incident Reporting, Crisis Management, Medication, & Corporate Compliance. New hires are provided with an orientation inclusive of agency history, mission, vision & core values, service plans, fire safety, medical overview, & disability etiquette.

Training needs are constantly being assessed and will be updated to meet ongoing areas of need for both staff and individuals served.
