Well, we found out that Mary Apgar has a black thumb. Our seeds did not grow☹. But in other news we went out on Meals on Wheels 4 times this month to volunteer delivering meals to the elderly. On Tuesday May 7th a group of the gang went out for lunch at the senior center. It was a fun time by all.

We made bouquet of flowers for Mother’s Day.

On our Spring survey on this or that: By Darren our reporter on the scene reported that:

  • 11 people chose blueberries and 19 people chose Strawberries.
  • 11 people chose ducklings and 12 chose lamb.
  • 8 people choose sunglasses and 11 people choose Hats.
  • 12 people chose Park and 6 people chose pond.
  • 17 people chose Ice Cream and 3 people chose Ice Pops.

On Tuesday May 21st we made windsocks for Memorial Day in art class. We all here at Mary Apgar enjoy art class.

 In preparing for the summer Olympics, we made our own medals we are going for the gold.

This month in our daily survey we found out that:

  • 12 consumers would like to play in the rain and 15 consumers would like to play in the snow.
  • 12 consumers like to ride roller coasters and 13 like water slides.
  • 8 consumers like hot chocolate and 4 like orange juice.

For our breakfast survey over 50 cups of coffee, 25 eggs, 13 cups of OJ, 18 bowls of cereal, 9 waffles, 7 slices of bacon were consumed. As we end the Month of May I Darren the reporter on the scene has told of 14 jokes during our morning routine.

In art we made clay pot! It was a fun time by all.

We also put our new raised garden bed together, can’t wait to see what grows.
