Dream • Believe • Achieve Gala raises $119,000 to exceed fundraising goal
More than 210 people gathered at the Hunterdon Hills Playhouse in Hampton, NJ, on May 11 to celebrate Abilities of Northwest Jersey, Inc.’s 50th anniversary. The Dream • Believe • Achieve Gala raised more than $119,000, surpassing this year’s fundraising goal by nearly 20 percent.
The anniversary celebration, led by Master of Ceremonies Bert Baron from WRNJ Radio, featured a special performance by Abilities’ Rockstars Choir and presentations from:
- Paul Sterbenz, event sponsor and past president of Abilities’ Board of Trustees
- Dave Molinaro, current Board president
- Lynn Alleger, one of Abilities’ founders
- Carolyn Wolf, a grassroots parent advocate
- Carol Carter, 41-year service recipient
- Assemblyman John DiMaio (R-District 23)
- Abilities CEO Cynthia B. Wildermuth
