Waterloo by Edward D

I always raise my hand when the staff asks who wants to go for a walk and have lunch in Waterloo park, this time we saw The Lenape Indian Village, we saw how they built their houses and read about their history, we also saw houses from the 1800’s and 1900’s at the historic Waterloo Village.

Karaoke Wednesday is the day everyone looks forward to. Our beloved host, Carolyn, asks each person what song they would like to sing and encourages them to participate. With Carolyn’s energy, everyone sings, applauds, and dances. We had the pleasure of having Emmanuel with us for a few weeks, during which he shared his piano talent with us. Everyone had the opportunity to sing with live music. We are grateful to Emmanuel for sharing his talent with our consumers, for his help, and for his professionalism. We wish him all the best at The Village at Hawk Pointe.

In July I went to Paris with my family. I went on the Eiffel tower. I went to a museum, and I saw the Mona Lisa. I went to a chocolate buffet. I had some cake that I dipped into the chocolate fountain. I got a massage. After my massage I felt very relaxed. I went to a cemetery that was in the movie saving private Ryan. I had a good trip. ~Dennis

We went on our annual st. martin’s trip. My mom has a time-share, so we go every year. I took a picture with my niece on a rock. I was afraid but I faced my fear. I had an excellent time with my family. We got stuck coming home this year because of hurricane Lorena. I wasn’t scared because I had my family with me.

Carolyn and I went to Central Park in New York city. We saw a horse and a carriage. Some people walked around the park, and some people took a carriage ride. Then we went to lunch. Then we did some shopping. We went to the M&M store. After that we took a ride on the ferry. We went to see the Statue of liberty. We saw where the twin towers used to be. It was funny to watch pigeons steal people’s food. I bought a picture souvenir of Central Park.

The story is about two best friends becoming superheroes when the two boys meet each other at camp for the first time. They said their names to each other I am mousy and your name is Elfey. Mousy said I live on the moon in out space and mousey asked where elfey lived he said on a planet in out space cross from the moon my planet has a ring on their. It was called rocket place, the camp is were around were mousey and elfey lives right now they told each other their age mousy said he was 12 years old mosey asked elfey his age and he told him hes also was 12 years old. They both said their birthday to each other mosey birthday was in April mousey asked elfey he said his birthday also was in April to mousey looks like hes really small and tiny mouse with a small tiny blue shirt with small tiny blue pants and little hat with little small sneakers and elfey looks like a small tiny rat and he wears a tiny red shirt and blue pants and blue hat and black sneakers this how became superheros. The campers went on a field trip to art place and they are looking at a picture that people did Mousey and elfey got lost in at the art place and they could fine there way back. They are looking at one painting has different kinds colors they touch it on it they couldt get off there hands with water. Mousey and elfey went to sleep and the next morning the painting tuns them into superheros. So mosey and elfey have to practice there powers they got from being super hero because they found out some one took the painting from the art place but they found who the person who did it and lock up in jail and so mousey and elfey save the day and the people are happy because they save special art for them.

Employment Pathways

Hi I’m Roanld! I wanted to take a moment to share a little bit about my life and the things that I truly enjoy. After my shifts at Shop Rite where I work diligently to provide excellent customer service, I like to unwind by diving into the world of PC gaming. Some of my all-time favorites include Minecraft where I can unleash my creativity and build intricate structures and Vintage Story which offers a unique blend of exploration and survival in a beautifully crafted world. Engaging with computer games is not just a pastime for me; it’s a hobby that brings me immense joy and allows me to escape into different realms. Beyond my solo gaming adventures I also cherish the time I spend playing online video games with my friends. These multiplayer experiences foster camaraderie and allow us to bond over our shared victories and challenges making for unforgettable memories. When summer rolls around and I have some time off I love to take family trips to Long Beach Island. There we spend our days soaking up the sun fishing on our boat and enjoying the serene beauty of nature.

One of the highlights of my time at the beach is watching the fireworks light up the night sky their colors reflecting off the ocean waves while sailboats gracefully drift by. It’s a magical sight that never fails to captivate me.

In addition to my PC gaming and outdoor adventures I have a growing passion for cooking. I find joy in experimenting with new recipes and pushing myself to master different culinary techniques. I would use the food I buy at ShopRite and seasonings.  My ultimate dream is to become a chef and open my very own restaurant one day where I can share my love for food with others.

Thank you all for taking the time to read about my interests! I look forward to sharing more experiences with you in the future as I continue to explore new hobbies and embark on exciting adventures.

Staff took John to ShopRite, we got stuff to make homemade pizza with fresh homemade sauce and lactose free cheese. John loved shredding the cheese, assembling the pizza and of course eating it. He had two slices and asked to have the leftover piece for lunch the next day.
