Star Wars by Kevin Giordano

My article this month is about Star Wars. I chose to write about this because May is coming, and I like to say, “May the 4th be with you”. May fourth is a day to celebrate the Star Wars media franchise.

Roses are red, violet are blue.
You are my favorite person.
You fill my heart with love.
Friends here to help you.
They make you joyful and proud.
Dreams filled with happiness.
The night stars bring peace.

Delicious Party Pretty Cure by Jamaal Theodore

The Kingdom of CooKingdom is a place responsible to all the Cuisine in multiple worlds. However, the Kingdom’s precious treasure, the recipe-bon, is stolen by a bunch of phantom thieves named “Bundle Gang” whose aim is to monopolize all the cooking of the world for themselves by capturing the recipes and the small, cute cooking fairies that represent every dish in the world. As a result, three energy fairies from the kingdom were sent to the human world in the town of Oishiina, where they met Yui Nagomi and her friends Kokone Fuwa, Ran Hanamichi, and Amane Kassi. Together, they became the Delicious Party Pretty Cure team in order to stop the Bundle Gang from capturing all of the recipes and to bring back the recipe-bon from their clutches.

This month I decided to write a recipe for Grilled Chicken!

Ingredients needed:

  • ½ cups Butter
  • 1 cup Vinegar
  • 3 Tablespoons Salt
  • ½ cups Water
  • 1 whole Chicken

Directions

  • Preheat grill.
  • Heat sauce ingredients (butter, vinegar, salt, water) in a saucepan to a
boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Place each chicken piece in sauce and then cook on hot grill, basting
with the sauce and turning often.
  • Cook until juices run clear. (Discard leftover sauce after cooking)
  • The trick is to slowly cook the chicken while basting and turning.
Could take up to 45 minutes to cook but keep a close eye on it.

This month I chose to write two articles. The first article I wrote is my favorite poem, The second is about the 4th of July!

POEM

The rabbit hops its gentle step
The lark sings lyric songs
All the worlds alive Again
Spring rights the winter wrongs
Mother hen protects her chicks
White blossoms are in bloom
All the worlds alive again
No snowy clouds to loom

4th of July

July is fireworks and picnics.
Going to all the parades with balloons.
Police cars and horses in the parades.
People selling stuff.
Firetrucks showing off their horns.
Clowns dancing around making people laugh.
I enjoy the 4th of July parades.
