The color orange will be big in 2022, mainly in maxi skirt jump suits. Vibrant colors will be a big hit this year for any style outfit. For women’s shopping this year, high wasted skinny jeans will be the way to go! Men’s shopping will be slouchy trousers. When shopping for denim such as jeans or a jacket, dark denim will be around a lot. Some of the older styles are straight legged jeans and sweatpants. You won’t see many people walking around in those this year!
Demolition Derby by Jack French
The derby is much more than cars slamming into each other, there is information that the drivers need to know. They need to recognize what the colored flags mean, what safety gear they have to wear and how to put their car together. The red flag means stop, green flag means go, and the checkered flag means the derby is complete! All drivers have to wear fireproof suits incase their car catches on fire, when this happens the red flag comes out and the ambulance and fire trucks come in. It takes about two months to gather the equipment and parts needed to participate in the Derby. The Derby usually occurs in the spring and summer, there are roughly 5,000 people each year that attend Demolition Derby’s. Any type of car can participate in the derby, there are small cars, trucks, and vans. A lot of times, Derby’s are held at county fairs. The audience has the option to eat within the fair grounds at food stands. Some of the food available at the Derby is hot dogs, hamburgers, French fries and soda. My favorite car is the Lincoln Continental.

There are many items required to play golf, some of them are putters, clubs, gloves, a hat if it is sunny, sneakers, and a bag to carry your putters in. There are also different types of golfing, this includes miniature golfing, Stroke play rules, Shamble, alternate shot and Chapman. I enjoy golfing with my dad, however we do not golf when it is too cold. When we go and it is sunny, we wear hats. Some of the areas are called the shore, the sand, some courses have water, and then the green. The best thing to do is to stay in the green. While golfing, it is tricky to get a hole in one, however you want to try to get the ball into the hole in as many puts as possible to earn the most points. You will see that each course has a different amount of holes.

Kim’s Cooking Corner by Kim Russo
The topic for this month is Lasagna! I am going to provide a simple recipe to make a delicious meal!
The ingredients you will
need are
- 1 pound of lean beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 can of mushrooms
- 1 jar of spaghetti sauce
- 1 pack of cottage cheese
- 1 cup of parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 box of lasagna noodles
- 8 oz of shredded mozzarella cheese
This recipe will take about 35 minutes to prepare, and will have to cook for about 1 hour. It serves a total of 8 people.
