This month I decided to write a recipe for homemade Macaroni and cheese!
Ingredients needed:
- ½ (16 oz) package elbow macaroni cooked
- 2 cups of milk
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- ½ teaspoon of pepper
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- ½ teaspoon of salt
- 1 block of cheese, shredded.
- Vegetable cooking spray
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Microwave milk for about 2 minutes then melt the butter
and stir in flour until smooth. Keep cooking and whisking
until the mixture becomes thickened. - Add salt, pepper, 1 cup of shredded cheese and cooked
pasta. Put the pasta mixture into a baking dish and then
sprinkle more cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes or until
the top is golden and bubbly.
