Books by Michael Burrini

I like to read books from the library. The types of books I like are Franklin, Arthur, and Dr. Suess. I like the stories they tell and the lessons that they teach. We can all learn something from a good book! Clifford stories are my favorite!!

Roses are Red, Violets are blue
You are a special person in my heart,
My dreams, filled with love,

“The Origin of the Magical Girl Anime Club” by Jamaal Theodore

Once upon a time, there was a very sweet, very smart, very energetic, and also very intelligent young American schoolgirl named Tabitha Dorothy Jones who attended Westchester County Middle School, which is located in Westchester, New York. She was a very bright “Straight-A” student who had aced every pop quiz in the entire middle school each year. It was there that she, along with her two BFFs Annabelle and Lilliana, had decided to form the “Magical girl anime club”, a girls-only club where the information of the subgenre and its magna adaptations are stored in their girly, but very smart brains for an unlimited amount of time. And so, after school, the three BFFs decided to walk home to Tabitha’s house to form their own “magical girl anime club”, which starts from 3:00pm to 6:00 pm. When the three BFFs said good-bye to each other, the two girls said to Tabitha that she was such a very good, very sweet, and very intelligent friend that they ever had. So, the next morning, things were looking very good at Westchester Middle School. All year long, it was Tabitha and her two BFFs who are doing their best routine together since they were little girls in kindergarten, such as going to the gym, eating lunch together in the lunchroom, and most of all, joining and forming the “magical girl anime club” with their two other BFFs Kazumi and Ashleigh (both girls). When school was over at the 3:00 pm hour, the fivesome went to Tabitha’s house together for an all-important “Magical girl anime club” meeting which is for five hours- 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. By the time the five female BFFs said good-bye to each other once again, they had a promise to meet each other again during Friday afternoon’s, all-time, all-important five-hour magical girl anime club meeting, which is at Tabitha’s house. And so that is how they did at 3;00 pm on a warm and crisp Friday afternoon for a five-hour, all-time, all-important magical girl club meeting, where they chat away, eat snacks, and talk about the twenty “Pretty cure” seasons that will lead up to Japanese magical girl metaseries 20th anniversary for many years to come.

The end.
