Mission & More

Abilities of Northwest Jersey was incorporated in October, 1974, to provide support to 13 individuals with disabilities through a single vocational rehabilitation center. Since then, services provided by Abilities have expanded to offer a myriad of support choices for individuals of every level of ability.

Serving Northwest New Jersey, Abilities offers four on-site day programs, a medical day program, transition and community employment supports, a vocational rehabilitation program, and two thrift boutique social enterprises.

Looking toward the future and continuing to expand impact, Abilities will be opening doors to residential services in 2025!
